A youth-led publication of the Jua Centre for Girls’ Sustainability Leadership
In Swahili, Kujua means to know — to question, to see differently, and to imagine boldly. The Journal is a youth-driven platform for African, Caribbean, and Black girls ages 10–19, along with allies and young thinkers, to publish, share, and innovate around STEM, sustainability, justice, and Afro-feminist leadership.
Run by girls, for girls, Kajua ensures that youth are not just learners, but knowledge producers shaping the green economy, public policy, and cultural imagination.
