Santim Publishing is an independent publishing initiative dedicated to storytelling, education, and youth knowledge production.

Through children’s books and youth-led publications, we create platforms that celebrate culture, curiosity, and global perspectives. Our goal is to inspire young readers and emerging writers to explore the world through stories, ideas, and research.

Kujua Journal

Kujua means “to know” or “to discover” in Swahili. Each issue of Kujua Journal invites young ACB women to discover their voice—and to help readers discover something new about the world we share. We publish work at the intersection of STEM, sustainability, Afro-feminism, and green leadership. But really, we publish whatever our contributors are thinking deeply about.

 Three ways to contribute:

Opinion pieces, essays, and thought leadership. This is where you stake a claim, challenge an idea, or call us all to think differently. Whether you’re writing about climate justice, decolonizing STEM, or what Afro-feminism means to you—we want your perspective.

Children’s Books

Stories for the next generation of leaders.

Before they can lead, they have to dream. Our children’s book series introduces young readers to sustainability, leadership, and the beauty of the African continent—through stories they can see themselves in.

The Adventures of Adey

The Adventures of Adey is a children’s book series that follows a curious young girl named Adey as she explores the landscapes, wildlife, and cultures of Ethiopia.

Set in places like the Semien Mountains, the series introduces young readers to nature, adventure, and the importance of protecting our planet.

The stories encourage curiosity, environmental stewardship, and pride in cultural heritage.
